Folate and BMI

Low folate levels are associated with greater BMI and body fat percentage. It appears that other B vitamins may be associated as well, especially B12.

Folate is found in high amounts in green vegetables. If you supplement, make sure you take the entire B complex…not just a single B vitamin in isolation.
