Topical fat reduction using aminophylline cream

April 12th, 2007 | by David Spelts |

Aminophylline consists of Theophylline (a compound similar to caffeine) and Ethylenediamine (a stabilizing agent). Topical Aminophylline has been demonstrated to be an effective for topical fat loss.

Subjects were put on a reduced calorie diet and those that using aminophylline cream around the waistline had twice the improvement in waist circumference.

Obviously, this type of treatment must be accompanied by diet and exercise or it will not be successful. Mobilizing fatty acids with aminophylline and then failing to burn them will only result in them being reesterfied elsewhere in other fatty tissues. Still, it does allow some cosmetic control over fat loss.
