Blueberry extract lowers blood glucose

Diabetics receiving a blueberry extract experienced lower blood glucose levels, lower CRP and lower liver enzymes.

The reduction in blood glucose brought their fasting levels into the normal range. The improvement in CRP and liver enzyemes suggests an anti-inflammatory affect.
