Fiber associated with lower BMI

Eating more fiber helps you to lose weight by slowing gastric emptying, improving insulin sensitivity and providing satiety. Fiber is negatively associated with BMI, meaning the more you eat…the lower your BMI.

The same study found a positive associating between both dietary glycemic index and glycemic load and BMI.
