BTW, they study you posted is interesting, but does&#039;nt show that meat is not a predictor of BMI, it states that meat is not a predictor of IL-6 (an inflammatory marker) and leptin independant of BMI.  That means they first adjusted for BMI.</description>

The quote looks like it came from this study:

which actually says meat intake is NOT a predictor of BMI though it does correlate to soem factors tied to inflammation in obese children.
