Preventing weight gain

A large group of women where studied to determine the effectiveness of weight control practices. Only one combination of methods prevented weight gain: decreasing food quantity, decreasing fats and sugars, use of a commercial weight loss program and exercise. All other methods and method combinations failed to prevent weight gain.
