Low carb diet beats low fat diet for hunger, mood
February 20th, 2007 | by David Spelts |Low carbohydrate ketogenic diets may be easier to follow than low fat diets. Those on the low carbohydrate ketogenic diet experienced less hunger and better mood than those following a low fat diet. Those on the low fat diet had a tendancy to experience greater hunger as the diet progressed.
This is almost surely related to insulin levels, a known appetite stimulant.
