Dairy calcium and weight loss

April 2nd, 2007 | by David Spelts |

Here is another study showing enhanced diet results with increased intake of dairy calcium. The group receiving the dairy calcium were more than twice as likely to achieve significant weight loss.

Calcium is significantly associated with metabolic rate. But it still suprises me that dairy can have this affect since the fat profile is not that favorable and the carbohydrate content (lactose) is not that great either.
