CLA helpful for overweight, but not obese.

August 2nd, 2007 | by David Spelts |

There have been quite a few studies on CLA supplementation over the last few years with mixed results. Overall, CLA appears to be helpful for weight loss. CLA, like other polyunsaturated fats, seems to improve insulin sensitivity.

This study showed CLA to be helpful for those with BMI scores of less than 30, but not for those with BMI scores above 30.
