Fat and appetite suppression
November 21st, 2006 | by David Spelts |A high fat meal reduces hunger while in the small intestine, not the stomach. This is induced via CCK (cholecystokinin), a gut hormone involved in appetite signaling.
Delaying the digestion of dietary fat elevates CCK further and results in higher CCK levels.
