Even short term diet and exercise reverses atherosclerosis

Atherosclerosis commonly begins in childhood. Obesity and blood lipid levels being the primary risk factors.

A small group of overweight children were placed on a short (2 week) diet and exercise program. Significant improvements were noted for many atherosclerotic risk factors.
